Mayor Sanders has appointed Steve Romeo to the San Diego Data Processing Corporation Board of Directors.

It is my pleasure to appoint Steve Romeo to the San Diego Data Processing Corporation Board of Directors.
Steve Romeo is an award-winning Senior Information Technology Executive, with more than 15 years experience in successfully implementing Information Technology strategy and vision. Since 2003, Mr. Romeo has served as the Vice President of Information Technology for Breg Incorporated, a medical device manufacturing corporation with facilities in the United States and Mexico. As Vice President of Information Technology for Breg Incorporated in Vista, California, Mr. Romeo develops and executes all information technology strategy and operations for the $100 million corporation. In this role, Mr. Romeo was instrumental in the implementation of Oracle Business Suite to consolidate all ERP platforms for the corporation. Mr. Romeo's wealth of expertise in Information Technology includes global understanding and development of software solutions, ERP implementation and management, acquisition integration, web-based commerce design, development of global IT departments, and business process design. Mr. Romeo's career also includes serving as Manager of IT for Polaris Pool Systems in Vista, California and SeaSpace Corporation in Poway, California. He has also held network systems and software support positions for Axys Pharmaceuticals, Intuit, and Viagene, Incorporated.
